Background
The City of Portland's Bureau of Human Resources (BHR) is seeking proposals for Employee Relocation Services to support the recruitment of executive leadership roles. The BHR aims to provide relocation expenses as an incentive for attracting talent to fill critical positions. The contract will facilitate customized and equitable management of relocation services for eligible candidates and their families, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Work Details
The successful Proposer will provide a range of on-call relocation services including:
- destination spotlights
- pre-hire decision support
- needs analysis
- travel coordination
- area tours
- community tours
- home sale assistance
- transportation of goods
- lease break negotiations
- property management solutions
- temporary housing arrangements
- spousal/partner career assistance
- family assistance
- hotel accommodations
- pet transportation options.
Task Orders will be issued as individual project needs arise under this contract.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is set for five years from July 2, 2026, through July 1, 2031. The contract may be extended to a maximum term ending on July 1, 2036.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed in various locations as required by the individual task orders issued under the contract.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate experience in providing relocation services and comply with the City’s requirements for insurance and equal employment opportunity certifications. Additionally, they must register for a City of Portland business license prior to execution of the contract.
