RFP Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Services

Background
The Molalla River School District #35 is seeking a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) to oversee and manage construction projects funded by the district's bond project. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all construction work is completed in compliance with the district's requirements, applicable laws, and regulations. This will enable the facilities to be legally occupied and fully utilized for their intended purposes.

Work Details
The scope of work includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of construction work as described in the Contract Documents. The contractor will be responsible for supervising and directing the work using best practices in construction management. Specific responsibilities include:

- Obtaining necessary permits
- Ensuring compliance with government laws and regulations
- Maintaining safety on-site
- Coordinating with subcontractors
- Providing adequate facilities for inspections

The contractor must also correct any defective work at their expense and ensure that all materials and workmanship meet industry standards. Additionally, the contractor is required to keep accurate records of all work performed and provide access to these records for inspections by the Owner's Authorized Representative.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins with the issuance of a Notice to Proceed and concludes upon Final Completion of all project requirements as specified in the Contract Documents.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within the Molalla River School District #35.
