Background
The Beaverton School District, located in northwestern Oregon and the third largest school district in the state, is responsible for educating approximately 40,870 students across various educational institutions.
The District seeks to establish a Master Contract for Asbestos and Mold Inspection, Management Planning Services, and Radon, Lead in Water & Lead Paint Testing to ensure compliance with environmental safety standards and to address potential hazards within its facilities.

Work Details
The selected Consultant will provide services including:
1. Asbestos Inspection and Management Planning Services under 40CFR 763 Subpart E.
2. Mold Inspection and Management Planning Services per US EPA Indoor Air Quality guidelines.
3. Radon Testing according to US EPA standards for schools and Oregon Health Authority guidelines.
4. Lead in Water Testing using EPA sampling methodologies outlined in the document '3T’s for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools'.
5. Lead Paint Testing as per US EPA regulations.

Specific tasks include:
- Conducting field inspections to identify Asbestos-Containing Building Materials (ACBM), Mold, Radon, Lead in Water, and Lead Paint.
- Providing written inspection reports with assessment results and recommendations for management or abatement actions.
- Monitoring response actions during remediation efforts.
- Utilizing Verdant software for record keeping of asbestos-related data.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective upon execution through June 30, 2026, with the possibility of extending for up to four additional one-year terms until June 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various sites owned or operated by the Beaverton School District within Washington County, Oregon.
