Description

Clackamas County on behalf of Clackamas Water Environment Services ( ??District ??) is seeking Proposals from vendors to provide Watershed Health Education Support.
Background
Clackamas County, through its Board of County Commissioners, is seeking proposals for Watershed Health Education Support on behalf of Clackamas Water Environment Services (the District). The District has implemented a Watershed Health Education Program (WHEP) since 2009 to educate the public about reducing stormwater pollution and to engage students and the community in protecting and restoring streams. This program is essential for meeting regulatory requirements such as Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) permits.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a holistic curriculum that includes:
- A multi-sensory framework for teaching watershed science appealing to various learning styles for K-12 students.
- Hands-on learning opportunities to understand watershed health.
- Online educational resources for virtually-based or home-school students.
- Coordination with schools to schedule lessons and field trips, including both in-classroom and outdoor education.
