Public Works Decant Facility

Background
The City of Silverton is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the construction of a roof over the newly constructed street sweepings decant facility located at the Public Works Shop Facility. The project aims to enhance the functionality of the facility by providing a steel structure and metal roof over four cells, thereby improving operations and minimizing disruptions during construction.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for:

1. Constructing a steel structure and installing a metal roof over four cells of the decant facility.
2. Installing engineered concrete footings as per approved drawings.
3. Installing siding on the East, West, and South walls of the facility.

The contractor must coordinate with City staff to ensure minimal disruption to the use of the decant facility during construction.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence upon award and must be completed no later than April 4, 2025. Key dates include:

- Bids due by September 20, 2024
- Anticipated Notice of Award on October 11, 2024
- Pre-Bid Walk Through on September 10, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Public Works Shop located at 830 McClaine Street, Silverton, Oregon, 97381.
