On-Call Arborist Services

Background
The City of Wilsonville, Oregon, is seeking proposals for On-Call Arborist Services to support its Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The City aims to preserve trees and maintain open spaces while complying with state and federal laws. This contract will focus on smaller, short-term projects that do not involve federal or state funding. The anticipated fee for this project is expected to be less than $250,000, with contracts valid until June 30, 2026, and options for renewal for two additional fiscal years.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of arborist services including tree inventory and evaluation, site reconnaissance, risk assessment, urban forest management, tree protection plans and specifications, plan review, construction monitoring, and appraisals. Specific tasks include:

- Work scope and proposal development for task orders.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules.
- Manage staff and subcontractors to meet schedule milestones.
- Conduct project meetings and prepare agendas.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and invoices.
- Conduct environmental reviews and documentation.
- Provide on-site inspection support.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to last until June 30, 2026. There is an option to extend the contract for up to two additional fiscal years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of Wilsonville, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must include an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist in their project team. They should have at least five years of experience under the same corporate name or ten years for the principal owner if recently incorporated. Proposers must meet insurance requirements as specified by the City and submit a signed Proposer Representations and Certifications Affidavit.
