Janitorial Services - Salem Campus

Background
The State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation (SAIF) is an independent public corporation created by the Oregon Legislature, headquartered in Salem, Oregon. SAIF is the leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance for Oregon employers, covering over 600,000 workers through policies with more than 54,000 employers.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain proposals from qualified vendors to provide janitorial services for SAIF’s campus located in Salem, Oregon.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services as outlined in Attachment E of the RFP. This includes:

1. Regular cleaning and maintenance of all facilities on the SAIF campus, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
2. Use of environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible.
3. Compliance with safety protocols regarding hazardous materials and biohazard cleanup.
4. Reporting maintenance issues promptly to SAIF’s Facilities Representative.
5. Scheduling all services in advance with SAIF’s Facilities Services Supervisor and adhering to specified work hours.
6. Ensuring that all staff are trained in proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on June 1, 2025, following the award date anticipated around April 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at SAIF’s campus located at 400 High Street SE, Salem, Oregon.
