Janitorial Services for the Vehicle Inspection Program

Background
The State of Oregon, through the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for janitorial services as part of its Vehicle Inspection Program.

DEQ's mission is to enhance the quality of Oregon's air, water, and land, and it operates a vehicle emissions testing program in Portland and Medford to address air pollution.

The agency anticipates awarding one contract from this RFP, with an initial term of 1-5 years and options to renew for a cumulative maximum of five years.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services at six Clean Air Stations located in Portland and one in Medford.

Services will be performed weekly at each location, with additional cleaning services scheduled monthly, quarterly, triannually, biannually, and annually.

Specific tasks include general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas.

Additional services like window cleaning and blind cleaning may be requested but are not included in the standard schedule.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of 1-5 years with options for renewal that could extend the total duration up to a maximum of five years.

Place of Performance
The janitorial services will be performed at six locations in Portland and one location in Medford, Oregon.
