ITB 24-0007 Cooper Mountain Elementary School- Office Renovation

Background
The Beaverton School District 48J is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB 24-0007) for a public improvement project at Cooper Mountain Elementary School. The goal of the contract is to secure a General Contractor (GC) to provide a secure entry and office addition, enhancing the safety and functionality of the school.

This project is subject to Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 279C.800 to 279C.870, which govern public works projects.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Selective demolition of existing structures as necessary for the new construction.
- Construction of a new office addition approximately 950 square feet in size.
- Remodeling of the existing building to implement a secured vestibule and entry sequence.
- Site improvements surrounding the new office addition and existing structures.

All labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for the completion of these tasks must be provided by the contractor. The contractor will also be responsible for daily cleanup of construction debris and final cleaning upon project completion.

Period of Performance
The anticipated timeline for this project includes:
- Contract award on or about January 15, 2025.
- Construction period beginning on or about May 1, 2025.
- Substantial completion by August 11, 2025, with final completion expected by August 24, 2025.

The work will be performed at Cooper Mountain Elementary School located at 7670 SW 170th Avenue, Beaverton, Oregon 97007.
