ITB 23-0029 Greenway Parking Lot & Portable Civil Works

Background
The Beaverton School District 48J is seeking competitive bids for a public improvement project. The project follows the Design-Bid-Build contracting and project delivery method. The district representative for the project is Doaa El Haggen, Construction Project Manager.

Work Details
The general scope of work includes retaining a General Contractor (GC) to install a new parking lot southeast of Greenway Elementary School, provide power and connections for the portables north of the existing school, and install new storm facilities at both locations. The work also involves widening an existing fire access road, providing power connection to the portables, adding or modifying lighting at the portable classrooms, and creating two storm rain gardens by the new parking lot and the relocated portables with storm connections.
The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other facilities and services necessary to execute all work. Additionally, they must secure necessary trade permits, clean work areas daily, provide all necessary equipment to build a new parking lot on the southeast of the site, provide all necessary connections to utilities including storm lines and electrical/low voltage, and supply storage and handling of all required materials.
The project schedule includes estimated construction start on June 13, 2024; substantial completion on July 30, 2024; and final completion on August 9, 2024.

Period of Performance
The project is set to commence in the summer of 2024 with an anticipated contract award on or about April 29, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Greenway Elementary School located at 9150 SW Downing Drive, Beaverton, Oregon 97008.
