Invitation to Bid- WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE PROJECT

Background
The City of Carlton, Oregon, is seeking bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. This project aims to enhance the wastewater treatment capabilities of the facility, aligning with the city's commitment to maintaining a sustainable and efficient public works infrastructure.

The contract will be managed by the Public Works Department in collaboration with Tetra Tech as the consultant.

Work Details
The project involves extensive construction work including:
- Construction of a new outfall
- Installation of site piping and valves
- Raising lagoon dikes
- Extending the chlorine contact chamber
- Building a new splitter box
- Establishing a new irrigation pump station
- Installing new chemical pumps and piping
- Erecting two pre-fabricated buildings
- Installing new aeration equipment and irrigation equipment
- Upgrading power systems and access road improvements.

Additionally, controls and integration will be provided by the City’s integrator of record.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all work is completed, with specific timelines to be determined during the bidding process.
