I-84: Echo Salt Shed Fencing Project

Background
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the I-84 Echo Salt Shed Fencing Project. The project aims to enhance security around the Echo Salt shed located along I-84 at exit 193, which is crucial for the agency's mission to maintain safe and efficient transportation systems.

The goal of this contract is to remove existing Type 1 fencing and construct new CL-6R chain link security fencing along with various chain link gates.

Work Details
The work includes:
1. Removal of existing Type 1 fencing;
2. Construction of CL-6R chain link security fencing;
3. Installation of various chain link gates around the Echo Salt shed.

The project encompasses all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the construction work as described in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from the start date until substantial completion by June 15, 2025, and final completion by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Echo Salt shed located along I-84 at exit 193 between the eastbound off-ramp and Echo Road in Umatilla County, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to bidding on public improvement contracts. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage requirements as outlined by BOLI for public works contracts valued over $50,000.

Bidders must also submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form if applicable.
