Food Service Management Services

Background
The Three Rivers School District is seeking proposals for Food Service Management Services to operate and manage the food service for the local educational agency, participating in various USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
The contract aims to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while providing nutritious meals to students.
It will begin on July 1, 2025, and may be renewed for up to four additional one-year terms.

Work Details
The selected Food Service Management Company (FSMC) will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks to approximately 4,200 students across 15 schools, totaling around 580,000 meals annually.
- Managing all aspects of food service operations including purchasing, maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Overseeing the preparation of meals for staff and special events.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with USDA regulations regarding meal patterns and nutritional standards.
- Implementing a 21-day cycle menu as specified in Appendix B.
- Ensuring that all meals meet the Food-Based Meal Pattern requirements set by USDA.
- Reporting monthly on the value of USDA Foods received and utilized.
- Conducting employee training in food safety and nutrition awareness programs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will run for one year until June 30, 2026, with the possibility of four additional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Food service operations will be conducted at various locations within the Three Rivers School District in Grants Pass, Oregon.
