Employment Physical and Exams DPSST

Background
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) is seeking suppliers to provide professional medical services, including physicals and various medical examinations as required by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST).
The goal of this contract is to ensure that law enforcement and corrections officers meet the minimum physical standards mandated by state regulations.

Work Details
The selected supplier will conduct physical standards examinations for law enforcement and corrections officers, ensuring compliance with Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 259-008-0010.
The supplier will perform the following services:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations covering all areas of DPSST Forms F2 and F2a, which include:
- Eye Exam (Visual Acuity, Color Vision, Depth Perception, Peripheral Vision)
- Ear Exam
- Audiogram (performed by a certified technician)
- Pulmonary Capacity Exam (including Spirogram)
- Medication Review
- Exam of Head/Throat/Neck
- Abdominal Exam
- Musculoskeletal Exam
- Neurological Exam
- Skin Exam
- Non-DOT Urinalysis Collection.
Additionally, the supplier will act as the collection and handling agent for a certified laboratory for urine specimen analysis. The supplier must notify MCSO of any additional testing requirements before proceeding.

Period of Performance
The contract term shall be five (5) years.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided in the Portland metropolitan area.
