E-Rate Eligible Internet Services

Background
Salem-Keizer Public Schools, Oregon School District 24J, is the second-largest school district in Oregon, serving over 37,000 students across 65 schools. The District is seeking to establish a new contract for Internet Service Provider (ISP) services to enhance its Wide Area Network (WAN) that interconnects schools and administrative buildings. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable and sufficient internet bandwidth to support educational activities and administrative functions.

Work Details
The contract will guarantee a minimum of 10 Gbps of bandwidth, with the possibility of increasing this to 20 Gbps based on cost-effectiveness. The service delivery site is located at 1340 State Street, Salem, OR. The District reserves the right to request changes in service configuration during the contract term, including relocation of network demarcation points or addition of eligible locations.

Proposers must provide incremental costs for increasing service capacity and describe their pricing methodology for future adjustments. All services must comply with E-rate funding eligibility requirements.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is three years with two optional three-year extensions available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Salem-Keizer School District, specifically starting from 1340 State Street, Salem, OR.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be E-rate eligible providers in good standing with FCC/USAC/SLD and possess a valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN). They are required to submit a proposal form, trade secret form, references, and a W-9 form as part of their submission.

Additionally, bidders must confirm their understanding of non-discrimination policies and agree to provide services as specified.
