Construction Project Management Services

Background
The Sheridan School District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Owner's Representative Project Management services for the management of bond and grant-funded construction projects. These projects aim to modernize and renovate school facilities within the District, following the successful passage of a $6 million capital construction bond on May 20, 2025. The District is committed to ensuring its schools are warm, safe, and dry learning environments for all students. Funds will be directed toward critical repairs, safety improvements, and modernized learning spaces at Sheridan High School and Faulconer-Chapman School.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide project management services that include:

- Facility Repairs & Upgrades: Paving and expanding parking lots, roof replacements, removal of asbestos-containing materials, and upgrades to lighting and interior finishes.

- Safety & Security Enhancements: Upgrading surveillance systems, improving paging and intercom systems, and creating a secure entry point at Sheridan High School.

- Updated Learning & Community Spaces: Renovation of the science lab at Sheridan High School, complete renovation of the old gym and music rooms at Faulconer-Chapman School, and updates to multi-use spaces for educational programming and community emergency shelter needs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution on August 22, 2025, with a project start date of August 25, 2025. The contract term is for one year with potential renewals not exceeding five years.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the Sheridan School District located in Sheridan, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes regarding public contracts. They must demonstrate possession of necessary licenses for the performance of work described under this RFP. Proposers are required to provide Worker’s Compensation coverage for employees. Additionally, they must certify non-discrimination in employment practices and identify resident status. The District encourages participation from Minority/Women-owned businesses and requires proposers to outline efforts made to solicit local/regional contractors.
