Background
The City of Eugene is seeking proposals for window washing and related services at multiple city facilities. The goal of this contract is to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of city buildings through regular window cleaning, which aligns with the city's commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for its residents and visitors.

The contract will be awarded for a duration of five years, reflecting the city's intent to establish a long-term partnership with the selected contractor.

Work Details
The work includes interior and exterior window washing at various city locations according to a predetermined schedule. Specific services include:
1. Washing all exterior windows, inside and out, at designated facilities every six months or annually as specified.
2. Cleaning overhead interior glass in entrances and specific interior windows on an annual basis.
3. Providing all necessary labor, tools, and equipment for the work.
4. Ensuring that all windows are free from dirt, grime, streaks, drips, smudges, and cloudy appearances.
5. Using environmentally preferable cleaning products certified through Green Seal GS-37 or EcoLogo.
6. Reporting any tagging or vandalism found on city windows to staff.
7. Coordinating with city staff to minimize disruptions during cleaning operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for five years from the date of award, with specific cleaning schedules established annually each January.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Eugene, including but not limited to City Hall, public libraries, community centers, fire stations, police headquarters, and parking garages.
