BID 2025-41 Aquatic Park Roofing Project

Background
Clackamas County, on behalf of the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District, is issuing a solicitation for the Aquatic Park Roofing Project. The project aims to replace the roofing system at the North Clackamas Aquatic Park, enhancing the facility's longevity and functionality.
The total estimated cost for this public improvement project is $1,250,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the roofing work as described in the project manual. Specific tasks include:
1. Full tear-off replacement of existing roofing materials.
2. Installation of EverGuard® PVC 80 mil Smooth Membrane by GAF or an approved equal.
3. Installation of vapor retarder, insulation, coverboard, membrane materials, curb/wall flashing membrane, adhesives, sealants, primers, fasteners and plates, flashing accessories.
4. Installation of a Guardian Fall protection cable system with anchors.
5. Reroofing all canopies as per existing specifications.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must reach substantial completion by September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at North Clackamas Aquatic Park located at 7300 SE Harmony Rd, Milwaukie, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) and provide their registration number. They are also required to comply with prevailing wage rates as outlined in ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870.
Additionally, bidders must demonstrate a Good Faith Effort to include Historically Underrepresented Businesses (M/W/ESB) in their subcontracting plans.
