Bend Consolidation Project

Background
The solicitation is for construction services for the Employment Department's remodel project at the Bend Office located at 1007 SW Emkay Drive, Bend, OR. The State of Oregon is the issuing agency. The ITB is advertised as a 'Bid Solicitation' in the OregonBuys web-based eProcurement system. The ITB and any resulting Contract are subject to State Buy America requirements, pursuant to ORS 279C.303 and OAR 125-249-0170.

Work Details
The work includes construction remodel of a commercial office to add eleven private offices, one lactation room, modify two existing conference rooms, exterior painting, LED lighting upgrade, demolition, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and paving.
Additionally, it involves demo and repave of the parking lot in its entirety and restripe to existing layout with minor concrete repairs and new ADA signage based on City approved plans.
It also includes installation of two new EV charging stations.

Period of Performance
The project start date is one calendar day from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion is expected by August 31, 2024, and final completion by December 31, 2024.

The contract will be performed at the Bend Office located at 1007 SW Emkay Drive, Bend, OR.
