26-586 RFP - E-Rate Category Two Equipment - Mist WiFi

Background
Eugene School District 4J, located in Eugene, Oregon, educates over 15,000 students across approximately 32 schools and 3 support locations connected by dark fiber at 10Gb. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued to solicit competitive quotes for network equipment to support the district's educational facilities. The procurement is contingent upon E-rate funding and subject to all E-rate program rules and requirements.

Work Details
The District seeks to purchase Wi-Fi network equipment along with installation services to upgrade the existing Wi-Fi infrastructure across 17 school buildings interconnected by dark fiber. The required equipment includes:

- 614 Juniper AP37-US Mist AP37 Tri Band Wireless Access Points
- 614 Juniper Mist subscriptions (1, 5, and 7 year terms)
- 119 Juniper AP47-US Mist AP47 Tri Band Wireless Access Points
- 119 Juniper Mist subscriptions (1, 5, and 7 year terms)
- 9 Juniper AP47D-US Mist AP47D Tri Band Wireless Access Points
- 9 Juniper Mist subscriptions (1, 5, and 7 year terms)

Minimum specifications for the wireless access points include: Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) or better; capability for 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands; a minimum of a 4x4 radio; Base-T capability of up to 5000; PoE powered; and cloud management capability with approximately one month of analytics and history. All products proposed must be E-rate eligible under Category Two.

Period of Performance
The equipment must arrive on or after July 1, 2026.

Eugene School District locations in Eugene, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with USAC and have a current Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN). They must also have a current FCC Form 473 (SPAC) on file with USAC, be an authorized reseller of proposed equipment, be willing to bill under E-rate rules (SPI or BEAR), separate E-rate eligible from ineligible products/services, provide warranty information, include shipping costs to Eugene, Oregon, provide estimated delivery timelines, include installation services if offered, and provide at least three references from similar agencies.
