2026 MBM OR 217 Various Locations Bridge Paving

Background
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the 2026 MBM OR 217 Various Locations Bridge Paving project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure by performing necessary paving work on various bridges along the Beaverton-Tigard Highway (OR 217). This project aims to ensure safe and efficient transportation for the public by maintaining and improving bridge surfaces.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish, place, and compact Level 4, ½” Dense Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP) Mixture. The scope of work includes:

- Cold plane pavement removal
- Micro-milling asphalt off bridge decks
- Removing bonded membrane
- Furnishing and placing rolled membrane
- Providing and applying tack coat
- Installing temporary pavement markings
- Permanent striping
- Rumble strips
- Traffic control measures.

All work must comply with the 2024 Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to begin upon notice to proceed and must be substantially completed by September 30, 2026. Final completion is required by October 15, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at various locations along the Beaverton-Tigard Highway (OR 217) in Washington County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed with the State Construction Contractors Board (CCB) prior to bidding on Public Improvement Contracts. They are also required to have a Public Works bond filed with the CCB before starting work on the project. Additionally, bidders must comply with State Buy America requirements as per ORS 279C.303.
