Background
Washington County, Oregon is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the 2026 Road Fund Asphalt Maintenance project. The goal of this contract is to maintain and improve road infrastructure within the county, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for residents. The estimated expenditure for this contract ranges from $4,500,000 to $5,500,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for asphalt maintenance work as specified in the bid documents. This includes but is not limited to: resurfacing existing roads, repairing potholes, sealing cracks, and any other necessary maintenance activities to ensure the longevity and safety of the roadways.

Bidders must confirm compliance with prevailing wage laws as outlined in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.

Bidder Requirements

Additionally, bidders are required to demonstrate an employee drug and alcohol testing program is in place for all employees engaged in public works projects.
