2025 OR38: MP 37.2 to MP 37.5 (HANCOCK MTN.) MAINTENANCE PAVING

Background
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing a Request for Competitive Quotes for the 2025 OR38: MP 37.2 to MP 37.5 (Hancock Mountain) Maintenance Paving project. This project aims to perform maintenance paving along the Umpqua Highway (OR38) in Douglas County, Oregon, specifically targeting areas that require asphalt repair and resurfacing. The goal is to enhance road safety and extend the lifespan of the highway infrastructure.

Work Details
The work includes:

1) Providing temporary work zone traffic control;

2) Completing Cold Plane Pavement Removal of asphalt concrete surface, furnishing and placing Emulsified Asphalt Tack Coat, and furnishing and placing Level 3, ½” Fiber Reinforced Asphalt Concrete Pavement (FRACP) Mixture (PG 64-22) at specified locations;

3) Completing 5.5” deep Asphalt Concrete Pavement Repairs at designated locations including EB: MP 37.2 (30’ x 12’), MP 37.3 (190’ x 12’), MP 37.4 (125’ x 12’), and MP 37.5 (130’ x 12’);

4) Performing additional incidental work as noted in the contract plans and specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from the date of award until substantial completion on June 30, 2025, with final completion expected by July 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along OR38 between mileposts 37.2 and 37.5 in Douglas County, Oregon.
