2024 ITB 13 West 11th Avenue Paving from Grant Street to Charnelton Street

Background
The City of Eugene is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the construction of West 11th Avenue Paving from Grant Street to Charnelton Street. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure by improving road conditions and ensuring proper drainage systems are in place. The estimated project cost ranges from $2,500,000 to $3,000,000.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Temporary traffic control and erosion control;
- Construction of concrete sidewalk access ramps, curb and gutter;
- Storm water sewer work;
- Wastewater sewer work;
- Roto-milling;
- Asphalt Paving;
- Striping.

Additional details include:
- Sidewalk Access Ramp Work and related pavement repairs must be completed by December 20, 2024.

All remaining work must be completed by May 30, 2025. Liquidated damages for failure to complete on time will be $2900 per calendar day. Temporary pedestrian routes must be ADA-compliant and maintained throughout the project duration.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed no later than May 30, 2025, with specific milestones for different components of the work.

The contract will be performed on West 11th Avenue between Grant Street and Charnelton Street in Eugene, Oregon.
