12882 Silver Falls State Park Smith Creek Village Dining Hall Roof Replacement

Background
The State of Oregon, through the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Silver Falls State Park Smith Creek Village Dining Hall Roof Replacement project. The goal of this contract is to replace the roof of the dining hall at Smith Creek Village, ensuring it meets safety and quality standards while enhancing the facility's longevity for public use.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Protecting grounds and perimeter;
- Providing a dumpster for debris removal;
- Removing facia board and gutters;
- Inspecting existing roofing materials;
- Cleaning and inspecting roof decking;
- Evaluating and replacing decking as needed;
- Installing new ½” CDX plywood if required;
- Applying high temp waterproof underlayment;
- Installing Standing Seam Easy-Lock roof systems with 24-gauge steel and a 40-year warranty;
- Installing various flashings including ridge metal, drip flashing, rake flashing, hook valley flashing, sidewall flashing, chimney base flashing, and counter flashing;
- Providing new pipe flashings and bath fan exhaust vents per code;
- Ensuring proper insulation and ventilation pathways;
- Implementing OSHA-compliant fall safety measures; and
- Cleaning up all construction debris.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to start upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion is anticipated by June 6, 2025, with final completion by June 13, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Silver Falls State Park located at 20024 Silver Falls Highway SE, Sublimity, OR 97385.
