12249 Prineville Reservoir State Park Jasper ADA Cabin - Construction

Background
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is issuing a contract for the construction of an ADA-compliant cabin at Prineville Reservoir State Park, specifically at Jasper Point.
The project aims to enhance accessibility and provide facilities that align with the agency's mission to promote outdoor recreation and conservation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks including: obtaining all necessary permits, mobilization, erosion control, demolition, clearing and grubbing, general excavation and earthwork, backfill rock, site plumbing (water and sewer system improvements), site electrical work, building construction (cabin and ramp), building plumbing, building electrical work, and building mechanical systems.
Specific materials provided by the owner include:
- 2400 linear feet of 2x4 #2 Premium studs (10' length)
- 6000 linear feet of 2x6 #2 Premium studs (10' length)
- 360 pieces of 4'x8' CDX plywood (1/2" thickness)
- 200 pieces of 4'x8' CDX plywood (5/8" thickness)
The contractor must also ensure the protection of existing facilities during construction.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to commence in January 2025.
