SW0817E Electrical Supplies MRO

Background
The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), Central Purchasing Division, is seeking responses from potential Suppliers to provide a contract for the purchase of Electrical supplies.

The State of Oklahoma expects to purchase an estimated $15 to $20 million on MRO supplies annually, which includes various categories such as Electrical, General Maintenance, HVAC, Janitorial, Lighting, Paint, Plumbing, and Tools.

The intention is to allow Bidders specializing in certain categories to respond competitively. This contract aims to achieve substantial savings through leveraged purchasing and simplify procurement for State agencies.

Work Details
The RFP focuses specifically on Electrical Supplies which include:
1. Wire, Cable, Connectors;
2. Relays, Switches, Fuses;
3. Fans, Motors;
4. Circuit Breakers, Power Loads;
5. Ties, Terminals;
6. Receptacles, Wall Plates.

Bidders are encouraged to submit pricing/proposals on as many products and subcategories as possible. The resulting contract will be available for use by all Authorized Users for their MRO supply needs.

Period of Performance
The initial Contract term is one year with four one-year options to renew the Contract. The Statewide Contracts are moving towards an annual auto-renewal format.

Place of Performance
The services will be provided throughout the State of Oklahoma with specific geographic coverage including:
- Southwest Oklahoma (south of I-40 and west of I-35)
- Southeast Oklahoma (south of I-40 and east of I-35)
- Northwest Oklahoma (north of I-40 and west of I-35)
- Northeast Oklahoma (north of I-40 and east of I-35).
