Sound System for Police Firing Range

Background
The Owasso Police Department is seeking to enhance their Firearms Range capabilities by purchasing a new Sound System. This initiative aims to improve communication and safety during training exercises at the range. The department is committed to ensuring that the equipment meets specific quality and operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install the following equipment:

- Two (2) Atlas BIA100/PD60T or Equivalent outdoor sound and paging horns, fiberglass and waterproof, with a minimum coverage pattern of 130 degrees x 60 degrees, installed on the front corners of the range watch tower above the catwalk.
- One (1) Crown NCDi2x300W amplifier or Equivalent.
- One (1) Shure SCM262 audio mixer or Equivalent, featuring two (2) microphone inputs and three stereo RCA inputs.
- One (1) Lowell 10 space equipment rack or Equivalent.
- One (1) Shure SM58S microphone or Equivalent with switch and a 7” desktop mic stand.
- One (1) 3.5mm Aux feed cable for phone/iPad/computer audio playback.
- Ladders or a scissor lift to access the second floor of the range tower for mounting the horns.

The vendor must ensure all equipment is fully operational, and any additional items necessary for operation are quoted and supplied at no extra cost to the City of Owasso.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by February 16, 2026.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at the Owasso Police Department Firearms Training Center located at 200 South Main Street, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation document, including providing documentation for any alternate equipment proposed as equivalent or higher quality. All deviations from specifications must be documented in writing. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all construction employees remain within designated areas for safety.
