Housekeeping and Janitorial Services

Background
The State of Oklahoma, through the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), is seeking potential suppliers to provide housekeeping and janitorial services for their facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for employees and visitors, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain operational efficiency and public health standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks during business hours (9 am - 4 pm) and additional cleaning after hours. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and stocking 7 bathrooms twice daily.
- Emptying trash from offices, bathrooms, cubicles, and meeting rooms twice daily.
- Sweeping and mopping tile floors at least once a day.
- Cleaning door handles, meeting room tables, breakroom tables, and stairwells.
- Providing all necessary cleaning supplies including paper products (toilet tissue, paper towels) and sanitizing solutions.
- Establishing a vacuum cleaning plan, window cleaning plan, and dusting plan within 30 days of contract start date.
- Ensuring all building lights are turned off before leaving the premises.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year with options for renewal based on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Oklahoma Insurance Building located in Oklahoma City.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including:
- Staff must wear uniforms with business logos while on site.
- Bidders must provide proof of training on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all cleaning chemicals used.
- Bidders should have experience in providing similar services to ensure quality performance.
- All bids must be submitted through the Oklahoma Supplier Portal by the specified deadline.
