Hangar Door Replacement and Track/Base Lighting Repairs

Background
The Oklahoma Military Department is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of a hangar door and repairs to track and base lighting at the Norman Air Force Reserve Center located at 4000 Thunderbird Street, Norman, OK 73069.

The project aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the facility by ensuring that the hangar door functions properly and that the lighting is adequately maintained.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
- Replacing the existing hangar door with a new one that meets specified performance standards.
- Repairing track and base lighting systems to ensure they are fully operational.
- All work must comply with the specifications outlined in the project manual, including adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.

The estimated cost for this project is $121,078.00.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within ten (10) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed/Work Order and must be completed within 180 calendar days from that date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, located at 5921 Mobility Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73179.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check, or surety bid bond amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid if it exceeds $100,000.

Bidders are required to have specialized qualifications as general contractors and must submit a completed Contractor’s Qualification Statement fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the bid date.
