Background
The Gilbreath Copper Mine Restoration Project 2 is initiated by the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, which aims to restore and rehabilitate the site located at coordinates 34.49715, -99.50049.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks as outlined in the bid schedule:

3) Earth Fill (674,968 CY),
4) Muck Excavation (12,605 CY),
5) Traffic Bound Surface Course (50 TON),
6) Straw Wattle (2,500 LF),
7) Rock Check Dam (30 TON),
8) Riprap (Type 1 - 6" Dia) (45 TON),
9) Aggregate Base (Type D) (50 TON),
10) Deep Disking (98 acres),
11) Agriculture Lime (25 TON),
12) Inorganic Nitrogen (N) (7,938 LB),
13) Phosphorus (P202) (7,840 LB),
14) Potassium (K20) (6,860 LB), and
15) Pasture Mix Seeding (98 acres).

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within a timeframe of 360 calendar days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed/Work Order.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Gilbreath Copper Mine site located in Olustee, Oklahoma.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or surety bid bond amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid if it exceeds $100,000.
Bidders are required to comply with all state laws regarding public construction and must have appropriate licenses and qualifications as specified in the solicitation documents.
