Drainage Improvements 2025-A

Background
The City of Stillwater is issuing this solicitation for the construction of drainage improvements as part of their ongoing infrastructure development efforts.
The project, titled 'Drainage Improvements 2025-A', aims to enhance the drainage systems at critical intersections to mitigate flooding and improve roadway safety.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Construction of a Reinforced Concrete Box and associated work near the intersection of 5th and Orchard.
2. Construction of a Reinforced Concrete Box, roadway restoration, new sidewalk, and associated work near the intersection of 4th and Villa.
3. Additional tasks include clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, installation of sod, aggregate base type A, subgrade preparation, separator fabric installation, concrete pavement placement, CLSM backfill, handrailing installation, concrete curb & gutter construction, sidewalk and driveway construction, tactile warning device installation, junction box construction, manhole frame and cover installation, storm pipe removal and replacement, mobilization for site setup, and traffic control measures.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within the specified timelines set forth in the contract documents.
The successful bidder will execute a contract within 14 calendar days of Notice of Award by the City.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Stillwater, Oklahoma specifically at the intersections of 4th and Villa and 5th and Orchard.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a guarantee in the form of an acceptable bidder's bond or a certified check amounting to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
The successful bidder is required to file performance bonds, maintenance bonds, statutory bonds, and certificates of insurance for public liability and workers' compensation insurance upon signing the contract.
