Background
Tulsa Public Schools (TPS), the largest school district in northeastern Oklahoma, is seeking qualified risk management consulting services to enhance its operations.
The District employs over 5,520 individuals and serves approximately 33,200 students across various educational institutions.
The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive risk assessment, loss control, claims management, insurance program analysis, and safety program development to mitigate risks associated with student and employee safety, property exposures, liability management, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Work Details
The selected contractor will provide a district-wide solution that includes:
1. Risk Identification and Assessment Services
2. Insurance Coverage and Loss Assessment
3. Risk Financial Analysis
4. Claims and Litigation Management
5. Risk Control – Safety and Loss Prevention Programs including the development of risk mitigation strategies
6. Policy and Procedure Development
Additional services include daily incident processing (First Report of Injury processed, OSHA tracking), monthly reports/meetings with key teams (Transportation WC monthly loss report, CN WC monthly loss report), and ad hoc work such as transportation lot inspection recommendations and safety training.
Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with an option for four successive one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Tulsa Public Schools in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all procedural instructions outlined in the RFP.
They are required to submit a complete response via Beacon Bids by the due date.
