Background
The City of Ardmore, Oklahoma, is issuing a solicitation for the Ardmore Water Treatment Plant Filter Rehab Project (Bid No. 25-1000). The project aims to restore operations to one or more filters at the City Water Treatment Plant. This includes removing existing filter media, replacing the underdrain system, and restoring the system to full operation.

The goal is to ensure that the water treatment facility operates efficiently and meets safety standards.

Work Details
The work involves several key tasks:
1) Remove and dispose of existing filter media;
2) Clean and prepare the structure for new installations;
3) Furnish and install new filter media, including all necessary labor, materials, and equipment;
4) Test and disinfect the system to ensure it is fully operational.

The project will be executed in phases across multiple filters (Filters #3, #4, #7, and #8), with specific tasks outlined for each filter including mobilization, bonds, and insurance requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within fifteen (15) days after receiving the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within two hundred seventy (270) calendar days. Liquidated damages of $300 per day will apply if the work is not completed within this timeframe.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Ardmore Water Treatment Plant located at 1465 City Lake Road, Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a cashier's check or certified check amounting to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Additionally, bidders are required to submit performance bonds, statutory payment bonds, and maintenance bonds equal to 100% of the contract price upon award.

Bidders must also comply with non-discrimination clauses and verify employee eligibility through E-Verify.
