Background

Work Details

- Compliance with City of Cincinnati Standard Specification No. 40-110-16 for water main materials.
- All pipe and fittings must be cement-mortar lined and coated per AWWA C205 standards.
- Hydrostatic testing of steel pipe as specified in AWWA C200.
- Provision of a galvanic anode cathodic protection system meeting NACE standards.
- Submission of certifications from manufacturers confirming compliance with specifications.
Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to commence work within five (5) calendar days from receipt of written notice to begin work and complete all on-site work within One Hundred and Twenty (120) calendar days from that notice.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations throughout Cincinnati, Ohio as specified in the bid documents.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered under Vendor Self Service (VSS) at the time of award. The contract requires compliance with M/WBE participation goals (6% for MBE and 6% for WBE). Bidders must provide proof of insurance including General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation insurance. Additionally, bidders must submit a Bid Bond or certified check equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount.
