Description

1.1 Scope: This proposal is to provide the City of Columbus with a Universal Term Contract (blanket type) to purchase complete Wemco Pumps and Parts. The pumps and parts will be used for equipment replacement and maintenance and repair of existing Wemco pumps operated at the City's water and wastewater treatment plants. The proposed contract will be in effect through July 31, 2027. 1.2 Classification: The successful bidder will provide and deliver Wemco Pumps and Parts. Bidders are required to show experience in providing this type of material and/or services as detailed in these specifications. 1.2.1 Bidder Experience: The offeror must submit an outline of its experience and work history in these types of materials and/or warranty service for the past five years. 1.2.2 Bidder References: The offeror shall have documented proven successful contracts from at least four customers that the offeror supports that are similar in scope, complexity, and cost to the requirements of thisspecification. 1.3 Specification Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted on the Vendor Services portal by 4:00 pm Thursday July 17, 2025 . Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Vendor Services no later than Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
Background
The City of Columbus is seeking to establish a Universal Term Contract for the purchase of complete Wemco Pumps and Parts. This contract aims to support the maintenance and repair of existing Wemco pumps used in the City’s water and wastewater treatment plants. The contract will be effective until July 31, 2027.

5. Wemco Model E4K-S-E2W 'HVP' (S/N 04DW05024-15-18)
6. Wemco Model E8K-LS-E2W 6 x 8 (S/N 04DW05024-19-20)
7. Wemco Model E5K-M-E2W 'HVP' (S/N 04DW05024-11-14)
8. Wemco Model 'C' 4 x 4 (S/N 02DW03964-01-08)
9. Wemco Model 11S 'EVP' 4 x 4 (S/N 08DW6870-01-02)
10. Wemco Model MODEL 11 S 'E' 4 X 4 (S/N 9090166-1-2)

The bidder must also provide warranty service for these products.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect from the execution date until July 31, 2027, with a possibility of extension for one additional year under mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The delivery of products will be made to various City of Columbus facilities as specified in individual purchase orders.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in providing similar materials and services over the past five years, including references from at least four customers with similar contracts.

Bidders must also hold a valid contract compliance certification number issued by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
