WDC Electrical Services Solicitation

Background
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) for electrical services at the Warrensville Developmental Center, which is a Medicaid-certified Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID).
The goal of this contract is to provide as-required electrical services to support the facility's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide electrical services as needed at the Warrensville Developmental Center, located at 4325 Green Road, Highland Hills, Ohio 44128.
All work must be performed between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, unless prior arrangements are made.
The contractor must complete any repair or installation work on consecutive days.
Services include but are not limited to: hourly labor rates for Apprentice Electricians and Licensed Electricians during regular business hours, non-regular service hours, and emergency service hours; applicable trip charges; markup percentage on parts and equipment; and compliance with Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws when applicable.
The contractor must also provide all necessary parts, labor, and fees associated with acquiring permits and engineering services.

Period of Performance
The engagement will commence on July 1, 2025, and continue through June 30, 2027.
The agency may renew the engagement for up to an additional two years with mutual written agreement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be regularly engaged in certified electrical services and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications throughout the contract term.
No subcontracting is allowed without prior approval from the Developmental Center.
All personnel providing services must pass a criminal background check and cannot have any disqualifying offenses as per Ohio Revised Code Section 5123.08(1), (2), or (3).
Contractors must ensure a safe work area using OSHA-approved barricades and secure tools/materials.
Compliance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is required.
