Walking Path Resurfacing and Culvert replacement

Background
The Ohio Veterans Home-Georgetown, part of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, is seeking bids for the resurfacing and replacement of a culvert along a walking path located at 2003 Veterans Blvd., Georgetown, OH 45121.

The project aims to enhance the quality and safety of the walking path for veterans and visitors, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds accepted industry standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for resurfacing approximately 3,800 linear feet of walking path that is 10 feet wide.

The work must be performed outside normal operating hours (Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM) to minimize disruption. The contractor must provide an itemized list detailing labor charges per hour, expected total hours, and total material costs.

All debris and dirt must be removed from the area before seal coating, and adjacent non-asphalt surfaces must be protected during the application process. The contractor is also required to maintain good housekeeping conditions throughout the project and ensure safety measures are in place, including temporary barricades where necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on January 1, 2025, or upon receipt of a valid State of Ohio purchase order, whichever is later.

All work must be completed by June 30, 2025.

The work will be performed at the Ohio Veterans Home located at 2003 Veterans Blvd., Georgetown, OH 45121.
