Vending Machines for the Department of Public Services

Background
The City of Cincinnati, Ohio, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for vending machine services to provide convenient access to food and drinks for employees and visitors of the Department of Public Services (DPS).

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide new vending machines equipped with credit card payment capabilities that do not require access to the City's Internet network.
The machines should offer a variety of healthy snacks and beverages, including both perishable and non-perishable items suitable for individuals with dietary restrictions.
The vendor will retain all proceeds from the vending machines, covering all costs associated with purchase, rental, installation, and maintenance.
Regular maintenance, prompt restocking, and responsive customer service are required to minimize downtime.
Machines must be placed in strategic locations within high-traffic areas to ensure accessibility.
The vendor must also possess all necessary licenses and permits required to operate vending machines in Cincinnati.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of five (5) years with an option to renew for up to five (5) additional one-year terms at the discretion of the City.

Place of Performance
Vending services will be provided at various Department of Public Services facilities located throughout Cincinnati, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must possess all necessary licenses and permits required for operating vending machines in Cincinnati.
They are also required to submit a detailed proposal including their experience in managing similar services, quality assurance procedures, proposed machine specifications, product offerings, pricing strategies, and compliance with non-discrimination policies.
