Turnberry Golf Course Renovations and Amenities-Phase 1 RFP

Background
The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department (CRPD) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for professional planning, design, engineering, and project management services for the Turnberry Golf Course Renovations and Amenities – Phase 1 project.
This phase aims to address significant stream bank erosion due to increased flood activity on Blacklick Creek, which has affected the existing cart path bridge.
The project is part of a multi-phase initiative that includes future developments such as a Three Seasons Shelter and Clubhouse.

Work Details
The scope of services includes:
- Incorporating a new bridge and connecting cart path installation, including stream work.
- Bridge and cart path removal, permitting, stream relocation and restoration, site restoration, and cart path ramp construction.
- The design must conform to ADA, AASHTO, ODOT guidelines.
- The truss bridge should be designed by a licensed professional engineer with experience in through truss bridge design.
- Minimum path width of 14 feet designed for emergency vehicle access.
- Stream restoration will involve restoring approximately 350 linear feet of stream with bank stabilization techniques and replanting native species.
- The consultant will also be responsible for obtaining all necessary local, state, and federal permits including FEMA CLOMR/LOMR applications.

Period of Performance
The project schedule includes:
- Deadline to Submit Questions on November 15, 2024;
- RFP Due on November 19, 2024;
- Consultant Selection/Fee Determination in November 2024;
- Commission in December 2024;
- City Council Legislation in December 2024;
- Notice to Proceed in January 2025.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Turnberry Golf Course located at 1145 Clubhouse Ln., Pickerington, OH 43147.
