TDC Plumbing Services

Background
The Tiffin Developmental Center, operated by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), is a Medicaid-certified Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID).
The purpose of this solicitation is to secure as-required plumbing services to support the center's operations and maintenance needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide plumbing services as needed at the Tiffin Developmental Center.
All work must be performed during regular business hours from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, unless prior arrangements are made.
Contractors are required to complete any repair or installation work on consecutive days.
The contractor must provide all parts, labor, and fees associated with acquiring necessary permits and engineering services.
Services include hourly plumber and pipe fitter service rates for regular business hours, non-regular service hours, and emergency service hours.
Additionally, applicable trip charges and markup percentages on parts and equipment must be included in the bid.
The contractor must ensure compliance with Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws for projects exceeding threshold levels.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will continue through June 30, 2026.
The agency may renew the engagement for up to an additional two years with mutual written agreement.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Tiffin Developmental Center located at 600 North River Road, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be regularly engaged in certified plumbing services and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and registrations throughout the contract term.
No subcontracting is allowed without prior approval from the Tiffin Developmental Center.
All personnel providing services must pass a criminal background check and comply with drug-free workplace policies.
Bidders must not have any unresolved findings for recovery under Section 9.24 of the Ohio Revised Code.
