Tailor Shop Racking Materials & Installation - for Ohio State Highway Patrol

Background
The Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) is seeking to establish pricing for the purchase and installation of racking materials for the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Tailor Shop.
The goal is to provide racking that matches and is compatible with the existing systems used by the Tailor Shop, which has evolved to meet the uniform needs of the Patrol over recent years.

Work Details
The Independent Contractor will be responsible for providing and installing racking materials at the OSHP Tailor Shop.
The specific requirements include:
- Racking must match and be compatible with existing racking systems.
- Installation must be completed within a timeframe specified by ODPS, with vendors being notified 7 calendar days prior to required on-site presence.
- Racking specifications include metal shelving units that are 171" tall, 30" deep, and 36" wide, featuring closed sides and backs, with 10 shelves per unit (bay). Each shelf should be made of 22-gauge material with a capacity of 850 lbs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of a purchase order and will remain effective through June 30, 20XX.
Renewal options may extend the contract for an additional twenty-four months upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Tailor Shop located at Alum Creek Facility, 1583 Alum Creek Dr., Columbus, OH 43209.
