SR-104 Water Flushing Station

The City of Grove City is seeking bids for the installation of a water flushing station at the dead end of the 12-inch water main near SR-104 and Manheim Auto Auction. The scope of work includes the installation of the flushing device, meter, backflow preventer, hot box, electric service, storm sewer connection, and all related incidentals. The contractor will also be responsible for coordinating service connection fees with AEP and The City of Columbus Division of Water. This solicitation is issued by the City of Grove City, through the City Administrator. The background of this contract involves the need to construct a water flushing station as specified in the project plans and specifications. The estimated construction cost for the base bid is $110,000.00. Contract requirements stipulate that work must commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed, and must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Sealed bids for the SR-104 Water Flushing Station must be submitted via Bid Express no later than 11:00 a.m. local time on August 22, 2025. Bids received after this time will not be opened or accepted. At the specified time and place, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s).
