Springfield Ohio Air National Guard Trash Services

Background
The Ohio Air National Guard is seeking a contractor to provide refuse collection and recycling services at two locations: the 178th Wing at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport in Springfield, Ohio, and the 123rd Air Control Squadron in Blue Ash, Ohio.

The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management and recycling in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary for refuse collection and recycling services. Services include:
- Collection of refuse, garbage, and recyclable materials according to approved routes and schedules.
- Submission of vehicle routes and collection schedules for approval by the 178th Civil Engineer Squadron (178 CES).
- Provision for unscheduled collections as required by 178 CES within 24 hours notice.
- Maintenance of collection areas to keep them free from debris and spills.
- Transportation of solid waste to licensed off-base disposal sites and recyclable materials to off-base processing centers.
- Use of Government-approved containers for refuse and recyclable materials.
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of containers to prevent odors and pests.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a specified term as outlined in the solicitation documents. The contractor must be prepared to perform services during regular hours (Monday–Friday, 0800 – 1600) with provisions for weekend or after-hour collections as needed.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at two locations:
1. 178th Wing, 5319 Regula Ave, Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport, Springfield, Ohio 45502;
2. 123rd Air Control Squadron, 10649 McKinley Road, Blue Ash, Ohio 45242.
