Southerly Service Truck Bodies

Background
The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, Division of Sewerage and Drainage, is seeking to establish a contract for the supply and installation of service bodies and light bars on city-supplied trucks. Work Details
The contractor will supply and install two (2) new service bodies and light bars onto City of Columbus supplied trucks. The installation will include all related components such as wiring, control modules, and cab command hand controls. Specific requirements include:

1. Service Body:
- Supply and install Reading SLU108DWs or equal with standard build configuration.
- Body color: white.
- Stainless steel T handles with locks (all locks keyed identical with 2 sets of keys).
- Spring-loaded door holder.
- Installation of a supplied backup camera kit.
- Wiring in looms with weatherproof connections where splices are necessary.
- Provide an estimated timeline for delivery and installation work.
- Warranty period for equipment and workmanship: no less than 1 year from delivery to the City of Columbus.

2. Light Bar:
- Light bar model: Whelen JE2SP1A or equal with amber/white LED lights.
- Cab mounted using bracket kit MKAJ94 or equal.
- Use OEM up-fitter switches for light bar control.
- Dedicated fuse or circuit breaker for light bar operation.
- Provide an estimated timeline for delivery and installation work.
- Warranty period for equipment and workmanship: no less than 1 year from delivery to the City of Columbus.
