Secure Document Destruction

Background
The Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking quotes for Secure Document Destruction services. OOD's mission is to provide services that enhance the independence of individuals with disabilities. This contract aims to ensure the secure destruction of confidential or personal information from various OOD locations, thereby safeguarding sensitive data.

Work Details
The contractor will provide secure document destruction services, which include:

1. Collection and shredding of paper and other media containing confidential information from specified OOD locations.

2. Certification by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) to ensure compliance with secure destruction standards.

3. Provision of lockable, wheeled totes for document collection on a rental basis, with specific frequencies outlined for each location:
- Zanesville: One 64 G Locking Tote, once every 8 weeks
- Defiance: One 64 G Locking Tote, once every 8 weeks
- New Boston: One 64 G Locking Tote, once every 12 weeks
- Athens: One 64 G Locking Tote, once every 12 weeks
- Cincinnati: Two 96 G Locking Totes, once every 8 weeks
- West Chester: One 64 G Locking Tote, when needed.

4. Trained drivers will securely transport materials to a destruction facility and provide a Service Ticket upon pickup.

5. Secure shredding must occur within three business days of pickup, ensuring no possibility of reconstruction of documents. A Certificate of Destruction will be provided for each pickup detailing the date, signatures, and amount destroyed.

Period of Performance
The targeted contract begin date is October 1, 2024, and the end date is June 30, 2025. The contract may be renewed annually for up to twenty-four additional months at OOD's discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various OOD locations in Ohio including:
- Zanesville (601 Underwood St)
- Defiance (101 Clinton St)
- New Boston (3879 Rhodes Ave)
- Athens (86 Columbus Rd)
- Cincinnati (895 Central Ave)
- West Chester (7686 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd).
