Reservoir ADA Kayak Launches REBID

The City of Columbus (hereinafter City ) is accepting bids for Reservoir ADA Kayak Launches, the work for which consists of demolition, excavation, and concrete placement and incidental items to install ADA kayak launches, and supporting amenities located at Griggs Reservoir Park and O'Shaughnessy Reservoir Park, corresponding hard surfaces and ADA parking, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, plans and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). WHERE & WHEN TO SUBMIT BID Bids will be received by the City of Columbus, Department of Recreation & Parks, at www.bidexpress.com until 1/23/2025 at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time. DRAWINGS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Drawings and technical specifications are available as separate documents at www.bidexpress.com. Drawings and technical specifications are contract documents. NOTICE TO PROCEED/CONTRACT COMPLETION The City anticipates issuing a notice to proceed on or about April 21st, 2025. It is desired to have a launch operational for use in summer 2025 before weather warrants storage of launches and docks. The work is to be substantially complete by September 30th, 2025. All work is to be complete by December 31st, 2025.
