Needed Service: Removal and Installation of Fencing around the Dam WallOrdering Location and Address: Mary Jane Thurston State Park 1466 State Route 65, McClure, OH 43534Project Background: Remove and replace fence around canal/dam area.Specifications/Scope of Work:Remove existing wooden fence and replace with something matching or similar to the aluminum fence on the bridge shown in the below pictures. The fence to be replaced is approximately 150' long. Must be removeable (due to ice piling up in winter). Vendor responsible for demo, haul away, site clean-up. Vendor responsible for getting permits for the work, if needed. Vendor responsible for supplying all materials needed for the service. Work can begin once the Legal contract and Purchase Order have been completed. Mandatory site visit is required before bidding to ensure the fence being installed matches the existing aluminum fence and is of satisfactory quality. Bidder must schedule to meet with the park manager to see the project before the bid is submitted in order to be considered for award.Completion Date: February 1, 2026Maps and/or Photos: Site Visit & Point of ContactPrior to submitting a bid response, site visit is mandatory. Provide the person's name, organization name, phone number and email address for each project example. In addition, the bidder must complete a pre-award meeting with appropriate DNR staff to ensure that the materials and scope are mutually understood. All equipment used on-site shall be free of sediment and debris from off-site to minimize the introduction of invasive species. Any timber matting used shall be new. Previously used matting will not be permitted.Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.The awarded supplier will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement.
