Background
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections (ODRC) oversees the supervision of over 44,900 offenders in Ohio at 28 state prisons. The mission of ODRC is to reduce recidivism among those they touch, emphasizing values such as staff care, teamwork, civility, and hope. The Ross Correctional Institution is seeking to procure three prefabricated buildings to enhance its operational capabilities.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of three prefabricated buildings: one building measuring 10' x 16' and two buildings measuring 8' x 8'. The specifications for the buildings include:

- **10' x 16' Building:**
- Features window mullions and two utility horizontal slider windows screened for ventilation.
- Constructed with single unit welded galvanized steel; exterior walls are 14 gauge and interior walls are 18 gauge.
- Includes a hip roof with a 12" canopy and a 6" fascia.
- Floor to finished ceiling height of 7'6" with insulated double pan walls (4") and roof (8").
- Equipped with a galvanized steel treadplate floor (12 gauge), stainless steel counter with pull-out storage drawer, insulated glazing in walls and door set in aluminum frames.
- Electrical system compliant with NEC using UL listed components including a Square D Model # QO112M100P load center, duplex receptacles, LED light fixtures, wall packs with photocells, data jack prep, and HVAC unit rated at 15,000 BTU AC/Heat.

- **Two 8' x 8' Buildings:**
- Similar construction features as the larger building but includes one utility horizontal slider window beside the door.

All buildings will be placed on a minimum of a 6” concrete pad (3000 psi) that is at least 24” wider than the building.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period begins after the bid closing date on April 18, 2025. The exact duration will be determined during the mandatory site visit scheduled for April 14, 2025.

Place of Performance
The buildings are to be delivered and installed at the Ross Correctional Institution located in Ohio.
