R&P - Special Events - Walk-In Refrigerator Rental -2025

Background
The Recreation and Parks Department is seeking a vendor to provide rental services for walk-in refrigerators for two major events in 2025: the Jazz & Rib Fest and the CBUS Soul Fest. The goal of this contract is to ensure that adequate refrigeration is available for food vendors during these events, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide rental, delivery, and removal of walk-in refrigerators as follows:

- Equipment Specifications:
- 8’x10’ Walk-in commercial refrigerator
- Dual Temperature: Cooler or Freezer
- Must be pre-wired, pre-assembled, and ready to operate
- Electric-powered
- Seamless fiberglass construction
- Can be placed directly on the ground (grass, gravel, or relatively uneven surfaces)

- Specific requirements include:
- Price must include all freight charges and labor charges.

- Number of refrigerators: 5
- Delivery Date: Wednesday, July 16
- Pickup Date: Monday, July 21
- CBUS Soul Fest:
- Number of refrigerators: 1
- Delivery Date: Friday, August 14
- Pickup Date: Monday, August 18

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed during the summer of 2025, specifically around the dates of the Jazz & Rib Fest (July) and CBUS Soul Fest (August).

Place of Performance
Genoa Park, located at 303 W. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Refrigerators will be dropped off on Washington Blvd. between Broad Street and Town Street.
